Berlins own Herzblut plays punk rock. Herzblut stands for energetic, sweat-inducing live shows. Anyone looking for a powerful catchy tune à la “Die Toten Hosen” with the lyrical wit of “Die Ärzte” in the youthful sound of “Blink 182” will find Herzblut. With regular shows in Berlin cultural venues such as “SO36” and “Wild At Heart”, in the sold-out “Maschinenhaus” in the Kulturbrauerei, and at the “Spirit From The Street” festival, Herzblut has made a name for itself in the Berlin scene. As the pandemic subsided and coronavirus restrictions were lifted, Herzblut were ready to go wild with great songs, a party atmosphere and live performances reminiscent of “fat-burning work-outs” (Alexis Georgiu).
From easternmost Bavaria to westernmost Lower Saxony, the band was on the road in 2022 and 2023: Sticky Finger Festival, Paddy Rock Festival, Damage Done Festival; guest appearances as main supports for Betontod at Berlin's Columbia Theater, for Rantanplan, for Oxo 36; shows in Hamburg, Jena, Frankfurt/Oder, Hameln, Vechta and of course in Berlin and the surrounding area with support shows at the sold-out Lido and the end of the year at Cassiopeia in Berlin. After an intensive songwriting and production phase, the release of a new studio album in spring 2024 is now on the agenda. This is to be presented and promoted extensively live throughout Germany in the course of the year.
