On a long winter's night, with lots of coffee and beer, the band was founded by 5 friends in the province of Hesse in 2021. The mission and their goal was clear… to combine New York Hardcore with melodic Hardcore Punk.

In the end of 2022 GROUND2A had their live debut, which was followed by about 30 live shows in 2023, including Festivals and Support Shows for well - known Bands like Born from Pain, Sheer Terror, Risk It! and more.

GROUND2A shot two music videos and released the mini EPs "Take The Time" and "Time Of Your Life", along with the Single "The Illusion I Am" on their own. In addition to many energetic live shows, the release of their first full-length album “Communication” is scheduled for 2024, which will be released on Dead Serious Records!
